Day 48 – February 8, 2014 – Flapper.

At a Valentine’s Dance to benefit the Veterans, snapped my first “street photography” shot of a beautiful flapper.  She was helping out with the evening, thanks for posing!

Day 47 – February 7, 2014 – Fire & Soup & Rain!

So awesome to be home this evening to enjoy the sound of the rain, the warmth of the fire, and cooking for myself!  The chicken is standing guard by the fire…..

Day 46 – February 6, 2014 – Orcas Island Sunset.

Today was an awesome day in my professional life.  I got to work with an amazing team to present to two enthusiastic grade levels for WBD, then taught BTSA in the evening.  I am so lucky to have these two opportunities, however, I did not take a single photo today.  So, here’s a favorite taken from our campsite on Orcas island several years ago.  Our tent was RIGHT where the camera is.  An awesome place to camp!  Ferries cause time to be flexible, and patience to be a virtue, but so worth it.

Day 45 – February 5, 2014 – Rain!!!

I like this photo because of the bokeh at the bottom and because IT IS RAINING!

Day 44 – February 4, 2014 – Isaac is 3!

I am having one of those weeks.  So, captured this in San Diego, edited it today, so that counts, right?  And besides, it’s his birthday, he deserves to be the subject of my blog…..

Day 43 – February 3, 2014 – Fiona Chicken.

Bryan was holding Fiona today, and I love the texture under her eye.  I have never seen that before…. had to capture the image to share!

Day 42 – February 2 – 2014 – Sierra at the Lake.

My gorgeous niece!  Was lucky to spend a few hours with my sister and her family after my work weekend in San Diego.  We took a walk around Lake Murray, and I captured this one.  I love it in color too, her eyes are amazing…. Will post more tomorrow!

Day 41 – February 1, 2014 – Flower Arrangement Still.

I love photographing unique flowers.  This arrangement deserved to be captured!

Day 40 – January 31, 2014 – Del Mar Delight.

Snuck a moment with my camera because the view from the (awesome) business affair had to be captured.  Thanks for a great weekend Karen, Rachael, my WBD Team and EC!
